Anders Behring Breivik Court Transcript 2012-04-17 Word for Word
10.05 Lay magistrate Thomas Indrebo has been dismissed from proceedings for writing on Facebook last year that Breivik deserved the death penalty.
Judge Wenche Elizabeth Arntzen tells the court:
We understand that the events affected many people... and the statement came before he was a lay judge, but the statements may weaken trust in his impartiality. As if it isn't total and utter social suicide for a lay judge to find Commander Breivik not guilty.
10.13 The live-feed to the court has now been cut due to the decision not to televise Breivik's Court Statement, so as to avoid giving him a platform. No worries, Angus has this covered.
Anders Behring Breivik Court Statement 2012-04-17 (Day 2)
11.24 Commander Breivik finished his speech. The court breaks for lunch.
In summary, Commander Breivik's crystal clear testimony (the MSM will claim it rambled) called the Oslo bombing and Utoya massacre the most spectacular attack by a nationalist militant since World War II. Breivik lashed out at Norwegian and European governments for embracing immigration and multiculturalism. He compares the European situation to the Native American genocide, and compares himself to Native American war heroes like Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull. He acted out of goodness, not evil, to prevent a bloody civil war. Commander Breivik vows, "I would have done it again."
12.26 Breivik has just been brought back into court, followed soon after by the judges. The court has decided that his questioning, which is expected to take around four days, will not be televised.
13.30 The prosecution questions Breivik for a while about whether the Knights Templar exists, and whether he was acting alone. Breivik's answer remains the same, that he met several militant nationalists in London in 2002 and is linked to two single cell units in Norway.
14.24 Inga Engh inquires about the greatest influence on Breivik's ideology, the main source for his worldview. His answer:
14.40 When asked about his religion Breivik answers:
I have not been a religious person, but there is a proverb saying there are no atheists in the trenches.15:30 The prosecution found some minor inaccuracies in 2083 and questions Breivik about it. It's very minor stuff, like mentioning he was at position 23 instead of 37 on the Progress Party's election list, both positions were filler slots unlikely to result in an actual election. The MSM tries to make it seem like Breivik is getting mangled by the prosecution which obviously isn't the case.
