Anders Behring Breivik Trial - Friday April 27 (Day 10)

9:00 The court is set.

Anders Behring Breivik Court Transcript 2012-04-27 Live Report

9:03 The witness Kristian Rasmussen takes the witness stand.

He was in a coma for a couple of days and manages not to whine a whole lot.

9:30 Next witness is Raasok Tore, Director General of the department of Transportation.

Foreign sources call him a mere employee, but it looks like Tore is high up in the ranks, and it shows as he whines like a little puppy. His left leg is amputated above the knee, unfortunately treason doesn't require both legs. He cried when he heard about Utoya.

10:42 Next witness is a 34-year-old man working in the ministries. He is not mentioned in the indictment and testifies anonymously.

He explains he was eating ice cream and drinking coffee, like a good little bureaucrat, when the bomb went off.

12:17 The first witness after the break is director Ole Peder Nordheim in Government Administration Services. He was head of security.

He mentions there were 12 security guards and 17 reception guards in the ministries, and 11 desk guards in the government quarters.

13:19 Next anonymous witness works at the custody department of the Oslo police.

He had some cuts and has nothing interesting to say otherwise. I'm not sure what the point of his testimony was.

13:46 Next witness is a woman who was in a car in Akersgata.

She wasn't injured but feels very sorry for herself non the less.

14:11 Next witness is the chief guard.

He helped an injured woman, then was told to leave because he wasn't in uniform.

14:37 The court is adjourned until Thursday 09.00.

  1. I'd read that Breivik turned away a woman with a baby before the bomb went off, though he himself has no recollection of this.

    1. My best guess is that Breivik was asked about this during interrogations which is why he mentioned it in court. This means the police has her name, phone number, and testimony, but I strongly doubt she'll be allowed to appear in court.
